I dabble in astrophotography using my iPhone.
Ive found NightCap Pro to be indispensable for long exposure images where I capture passes of the International Space Station as well as other bright satellites. Ive also left the app running to capture the circular pattern of stars across the sky over an hour or more of movement, with results I never thought possible with a phone!
The new interface allows for easy locking and manually adjusting of the brightness and focus, and several options for automatic, multiple exposures have led me to experiment and even leave my phone out over night to capture meteor showers.
When not photographing stars, Ive found the nighttime photographs to come out remarkably clear. Even well-lit indoor pictures can be creatively manipulated, such as when I set my phone on a tripod in a crowded museum and stood still, so that the folks around me blended into the background, leaving me alone in a crowded exhibit.
The more I play, the more creative I get and the more I discover the remarkable features of this app.
You wont be disappointed!
