Astrophotography doesnt get any easier than this. Ive done the DSLR thing with a tracking eq. mount, but found it unsatisfying. While you wont get the highest quality images, they are so easy to take and modify that it just makes it more fun!

I first covered the App through the ‘Start Something New’ campaign on Apple.com. I am so glad I did! The app has been amazing to work with as well as the support! Any time I have had a question about how to use it or the best settings they have been very prompt in getting back to me! I love it and I can’t wait to perfect my long exposure and light trails! I totally recommend this app!

Does what it does very well: take lowlight photographs.

Thank you to the makers of this app! I just returned from a trip in Reykjavik, Iceland and this app was pivotal. Several people on my tour bus were amazed by the quality photographs I was able to take of the Aurora Borealis with my iPhone. In fact, many people downloaded the app so they could do the same. Without this app I wouldnt have the fantastic pictures from this once in a lifetime experience. The default camera just couldnt capture the images. Thanks!

It captures very nice night pics, I didnt think an iPhone could do that. Quite happy with this purchase.

Nightcap saved me when my SLR broke. The app got me some great night shots in Death Valley, even a bit of the Milky Way. It was very easy to learn and use in less than an hour.
